We are planning to spend a week in Tuscany, based in Siena in mid May. We will have a car. Any suggestions for not to be missed dining experiences not in the guidebooks?
Cane e Gato. No menu. Limited seating. Very small venue. People were banging on the door to get in when we were there but as I said it was limited seating and the owner locked the door once the place was full. The chef/owner took great pride in his food and restaurant. As I recall there were multiple courses and you could refuse a course if you wanted.
OP you should post the query in the Italy Forum.
More likely to get more answers.
You’ve posted in the “ review “ section of the Forum where posters are to share their views about restaurants they’ve eaten at while traveling.
Cane e Gatto now has a menu: https://www.trattoriacanegatto.info/menu-4/
Oh, golly, that looks good. Can't wait to get to Siena later this year.
