We are seeking hotel recommendations for Monterosso under 250 Euros per night. We are staying 2 nights in early October 2024 and are seeking a clean comfortable non smoking room with ensuite bathroom and airconditioning. We are an older couple so don't want to climb up the hills. Additionally would prefer a room with safe to store travel documents. We have tried Rick Steves moderately priced recommendations but they are not available. Any suggestions?

What are your precise dates? Not clear what recommendations you tried, but I loved my stay at Hotel Villa Steno (with a RS group). It is up the hill though, they have a sister hotel (Pasquale) near the beach.
