Hello- I will be traveling this summer with my twin 13-year olds. We stayed in Levanto last summer and they LOVED cliff jumping in Manorola, so I am looking for something similar, but new, for this summer.
We want to stay somewhere with a pool; that is super helpful with the kids in the late afternoons. And, either walking distance to restaurants or with a shuttle that runs at night for restaurants. We will have a car, but we will have wine with dinner and do not want to drive to dinners. Good air conditioning is also a must. We don't care about being close to the beach because we live in Florida.
Looking for a nice base from which to explore the peninsula; hiking, boating, etc. with comfy rooms, a good breakfast, a pool (a gym would be great for my husband, but not necessary), easy to get to dinner without driving.
We are open to masserias to resorts. Let's say a budget of around $1,000 a night, to include 2 real bedrooms.
