Milan Malpensa Airport Lodging

Just wanted to drop a note recommending the Moxy at Malpensa Terminal 2 for those with early flights out of Milan. Our flight was out of Terminal 1, but the internal airport bus got us there in less than 10 minutes from the hotel. Rooms were good sized and the price was very reasonable. Obviously Marriott Bonvoy members will get added benefits.

We stayed there in May before an early morning flight home and it was great. It was very quiet, clean, updated, and convenient. And we paid less than $100! Would definitely stay there again!

Good to know it’s still a great option. I stayed there in 2018, and it was very handy. The room & bathroom were both very nice, and I remember a very comfortable modern leather chair in the room. The low point was the food in their kiosk restaurant, but maybe that’s improved since I was there.

Nope. No improvement.

We always stay at Hotel Villa Malpensa which has an excellent dining room. Nice for your last meal in Italy!

We enjoyed our stay at Osteria Della Pista in nearby Casorate, 10 minutes from Malpensa. Their free shuttle picked us up at Terminal 1 and returned us there the next morning. Travel time 10 minutes. Their on-site restaurant is excellent, and popular with locals. We enjoyed one of our best dinners of the trip there.

How did you get from the airport to the Moxy? We will be staying there next week for a morning flight but coming into Milan by train from Parma.

There’s a free bus that travels between terminals. The Moxy is directly across from the bus stop. Runs frequently.

I want to second the recommendation for Moxy Malpensa for the night before a morning flight. After taking the train to Milan Centrale we explored Milan for the afternoon, ate dinner at the Mercato (which has great small vendor good choices) downstairs in the train station before catching the train to terminal 2 at night. It was so convenient walking out and across the street to the Moxy and back across to catch the morning airport bus to terminal 1.
