We are 2 middle age couples and we will be in Milan preceding a RS Tour in May. We arrive about noon and have about 24 hours before moving on. We will be visiting the Duomo Cathedral, Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper and more. We are looking for your favorite place to stay and wondering if most B & B's and Hotels will store your luggage until check in time.

Many of us recommend -- and stay at -- the Hotel Berna. Luggage storage, no problem. Great breakfast, service, and near the central train station.
We loved the Lancaster, but it's not as convenient if you're only going to be there one night. But it was comfortable, inexpensive, with a good breakfast and great staff.
We enjoyed our stay at Antica Locanda Leonardo near The Last Supper. It is set back from the road, very quiet. Garden. Excellent hosts and breakfast. Walk or tram to Duomo. Price was reasonable.
I’ve enjoyed my stay at Hotel Garda, right across the street from Hotel Berna.
Make sure you book your Last Supper tickets way in advance (usually up to 3 months in advance)
