We stayed at the Michelangelo B & B in September for two nights. This is a small, quaint B & B, in an old building on the Piazza San Giorgio across from the church. It is a quick walk to the ferry and train station. If you need transportation to/from the train station Miki is available. There is also a public parking structure within walking distance.
There are only 4 rooms, a large breakfast room and a large rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Lake Como. As can be expected, the rooms are not large. We stayed in room #3 that has a small balcony with a small table and chairs. The bathroom has a large shower.
There is plenty of food for breakfast, everything you can imagine, plus eggs made to order.
Miki is very helpful in making restaurant reservations and providing ideas of what to do in the area.
We would definitely stay here again.
