I visited the Amaranto restaurant (on Via Mura di San Vitale) for lunch, and then again for dinner the next night. At lunch, there's a wonderful buffet, as well as a la carte. They do very creative and delicious versions of Italian classics. I sensed that the restaurant is truly a labor of love.
I was very impressed with that town and stayed two nights in Ravenna. I hope more people will enjoy it for more than a quick 2-hour stop. I would like to return, and of course, explore more restaurants! Thanks for the post.
I agree with Jean, but isn't it wonderful to go somewhere lovely and not fell the need to complain about the crowds, because there are none?
