My husband and I will be traveling to Sorrento for 5 nights in mid October, 2025. We would like recommendations for a special place to stay in the price range of $200+ per night. A view is preferred as is cleanliness. We're open to hotel, villa, small home, etc. Thank you in advance for any help.

We stayed at Villa Monica B&B in October and LOVED it. You can read reviews and see photos on TripAdvisor, but def book direct on the official website. The owners were great. The Breakfast was delicious. It is high up on a mountain, with amazing views, but it is not walkable to town - but they have shuttles that take you to and from town frequently.

October is still in season, as there's no shoulder season anymore, so expect crowds. I don't think you'll get a view for that price, unless you're way up in the hills, so would rely on a lodging shuttle or walking to take you to town. What's more important to you? The view or being in town? Do you want breakfast and/or an elevator? You'll still need air conditioning in October.
If possible, you'll have more choices around 300 euros a night. Do your research on booking.com, but book directly for the best price. There are no real deals, as there's area is in such demand. Sorry.
Are you aware of the traffic congestion and the difficulty of moving about in the area? Always best to plan for the realities on the ground.
Five nights is a nice amount of time for the area. Enjoy.

We have stayed twice at Hotel Minerva - look them up.
It is simple to walk the sidewalk down into town and the expansive balcony is to die for. Their breakfast buffet was sumptious and we were guided to buses which could take us to the pier if we wanted a ride to the ferry.

Another recommendation for Hotel Minerva. We too booked a balcony, and the view was amazing - we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. And of course we loved the rooftop pool with amazing view as well. We would walk into town - it was about a 10-15 minute walk slightly downhill (so slightly uphill heading back!). And one night we ordered a taxi since my husband wasn't feeling up to it. We loved our time there.

Another Hotel Minerva recommendation! Just left, had a wonderful view from the balcony and a beautiful room. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the staff was fantastic, and can't wait to go back again. Stunning views from the terrace and room balcony. You won't be disappointed.
