We are three couples signed up for the RS tour of Sicily starting early November. We plan to arrive early in Sicily and stay at an air B&B on the western side . Anyone have any recommendations for VRBO or air B&B or others?

Western side of Sicily or of city of Palermo? Perhaps Trapani? There are several beach areas west of Palermo but probably not best in November. Your tour takes you to the sights in and near Trapani and down to Agrigento. Selinunte is an interesting archeological park in between but I would not recommend the areas around it . There is a winery/hotel outside of Menfi that is supposed to be nice but, still, we did not like the western coast of Sicily except for Trapani. Driving down the western side we tried to find a nice town for lunch on the way to Agrigento. We could only find very run down and poor areas on west coast. The east side of the island has much nicer places to stay including the three lovely Baroque towns of Noto, Modena and Ragusa.
