King or Queen Bed in Bologna and lunch too

We are seeking a one night stay and need one room that has a queen or king. Our preference is near city center but on a quiet street. We are traveling end of Nov. and would like to spend about 100-120 Euros.

Also seeking a great lunch spot that spotlights traditional food, family run, few tourists. We can speak a bit of Italian so can get by.

Thanks in advance

What time of year? Different dates have different prices. My impression is that your price point is low for city center Bologna. We enjoyed our stay at Art Hotel Novecento, centrally located, garage adjacent. I don’t recall our bed configuration but have rarely found king beds in Europe unless staying at a US chain hotel like Hilton.
Lunch- see if da Cesari is open for lunch.

You will want to look closely at the hotel listings. Booking.com is a great place to start. It is extremely rare to find a king bed in Europe. A room listed as a “double”, meaning it sleeps two people, often has two twin beds pushed together. This is a larger bed than a queen bed. OR it could be one bed, which is most likely about the size of a full bed on the US (smaller than a queen). Sometimes when selecting the room, you can choose the bed configuration: one bed or two beds. Choose one bed and it will be two twins pushed together.

I just stayed in Bologna and highly recommend the restaurant Franco Rossi. A small traditional restaurant full of locals having their Saturday lunch - wonderful traditional food and gentile service and very reasonable prices! http://ristorantefrancorossi.com

I was staying across the street at Hotel Cavour which was convenient to the old part of town and very clean and comfortable. My room definitely had a queen bed. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Have a great trip!
