Italy tour--any hotels with 2 beds?

I'm 70, and I want to take my 30 year old daughter on a tour with me. It would be most convenient if we could share a room with 2 beds. Is that possible with Rick's tours?

Hi I would say all of his hotels offer two beds. But remember these are not double beds or queen beds. They will be twins or a little larger. The beds in some hotels are very close together. The hotel rooms in most cases are much smaller than what we are used to in the states. My teenage kids have been on three tours the last one was in three places in Italy they always had two separate beds.
If you have any other questions on the beds I would call the tour office

Ditto what LA said. In many of the tour hotels, the double bed is actually 2 twins shoved together, with on set of (double) sheets. The office should be able to help you out. They're very helpful, and have dealt with this question before - roommates usually want separate beds.

However, there was a post recently by someone who had requested 2 single beds for the room she shared with her husband, and was less that thrilled with the rooms they were assigned. I can't find the post - maybe it's been removed? Does anyone have the link?

You just need to designate this when you sign up for the tour (there's usually a space to note any special needs or requests). You can also call the office and ensure they make a note of it. As a solo traveler that had to share with another tourmate on four RS tours, I can attest that in "twin" rooms the beds are often pretty close together. Since you're family, you might be more comfortable with this situation, but it is something to keep in mind.

When you sign up for the tour, you get to say whether you are a couple, or traveling companions, from which the smart people at RS determine the bed assignments. I forget the exact wording, but its pretty obvious.
