We're heading to Sardinia next month and hoped to visit Naples for 4-5 days beforehand next month. Looks like Piazza Bellini is very popular but it's booked up for our dates 15-19 October. Any recommendations on not over-the-top hotels, apartments, airbnbs? Hope to get back to Pompeii, Archeological Museum and maybe nearby Islands. Thanks for input. Pam

In our one and only trip to naples we split our time between the Bellini and the Royal Continental. The Royal Continental is down by the water in a very nice area. It is near lots of restaurants and is a great area to walk around. It does not have the same urban energy as the area near the Bellini
