I'm sad to report that this restaurant is permanently closed as Chef Moreno dies suddenly from a heart attack at he beginning of March this year. I learned this news yesterday after emailing the restaurant for information.

Oh, what sad news! We took his cooking class in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Very sad news. Taking Chef Moreno’s class was a highlight of my first trip to Italy. He drove us back to our lodging after the class and he was a very kind man.

Thank-you for posting this. Sad indeed. We had tried three times (Covid, Covid and another forced cancellation) to join one of the cooking classes there. The third time were were so determined to do this we booked the class even before our hotel or train. Each email to book was a happy moment and just like the subsequent cancellations, each received a quick reply with always positive thoughts. Hopefully the email still works.
