We stayed at Hotel Pallotta, which is in Rick's book. Simple rooms, some of which have an open shower area in the bathroom (no curtain or glass partition), so that wasn't ideal. Room itself was a-okay. Only spent one night. Included breakfast and afternoon tea & cake There are stairs, so mobility is necessary.

Excellent restaurant in Rick's book: Trattoria da Erminio.

Hotel Dei Priori (https://www.deiprioriboutiquehotel.it/) is a nice place to stay and is just across from my favourite church in the area, Chiesa Nuova di San Francesco Convertito. Pretty centrally located. Enjoy. Not sure if you are going specifically for Easter, but book early, as it will be busy!

We also stayed at Hotel Pallotta. Here is the link for reservations as it was a little confusing to make sure I had the right website. It is right in the middle of town near the square and fun to watch the cars come down the narrow streets from our window.

We also ate at Trattoria da Erminio mentioned by Rachel and it was good. There is a good pizza by the slice Pizzeria da Andrea and I think it might have been open only during the day.

I also stayed at Hotel Pallotta.
I liked it and would stay there again.
The location was good.
The family that operates the hotel also has a restaurant in town of the main square. Trattoria Pallotta. I've never had life changing food before.
The lasagna I had there was just that. It was light and suitable for eating any time of year, including late august when temperatures were high 80s.

Not anything like the saucy comfort food version you will find in many places in the USA (I don't mind this style, either... but I've spent the last 8 years trying to replicate what I ate at Trattoria Pallotta)
