hotels in Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris, London

My father and I are planning a trip to Europe in June 2018. I would like advice on hotels to stay at in the following cities (Rome,Florence,Venice,Paris and London). Here are some things that may help:

  • budget is about $150-250 a night
  • we would like to stay in city centre
  • Don't need all of the fancy stuff, just best bang for buck

Thank for any help!

Your placed your question in the Review Section for hotels. You will received better and probably more answers if you put your question in the correct section -- Destination Q and A (Questions and Answers) and the Italy subsection.

PS - the Rick Steves guide book for Italy would be a good starting point for your question.

Also browse hotels on booking.com; you can narrow your search by budget and desired amenities. This is a reputable booking site that quite a lot of us use to search for and nail down our accommodations.

Brett, consider the Hotel Mercures that you would find in each city. They usually are modern, comfortable and have a really good breakfast, which I find very helpful to my quick morning routine. I liked them in 3 different cities within the past 2 years.
