My husband, my 15-year-old daughter, and I are traveling to Milan this June 2025 as a birthday present for our daughter. Because of her age, she's no longer considered a child in hotels, so I'm looking for a hotel suite or a two-bedroom apartment. The problem is that we've previously rented Airbnbs in Europe and have been disappointed, especially with the air conditioning in the summer. Has anyone stayed in an apartment or suite that you can really recommend? My budget is $450 per night. TIA
hey hey Dayana
i would move this to the italy forum, more people will see it. this is for people posting reviews of places they've been to.
you are late in reserving since it's high season summer with many people traveling all over italy and it's jubilee 2025, expecting crowds in the millions. even though it's mostly rome many want to travel to the bigger cities (florence/venice/lake como/ tuscany/naples, sorrento, amalfi coast, cinque terre). be prepared for busy busy places
what are you dates? check-in is 2-4pm check-out 10-11am,
booking.com/ milan
on left is filters for you to check, dates, amenities wanting/needing, check bed types (if it says sofa bed "no way", look for 1 Q/1 twin), where it is, cost, cancellation policies, etc. good luck and enjoy

Hi Rick, thanks for your reply! We’ve already booked an apartment (with free cancellation), but I’m still on the lookout for better options for our stay from June 13-17. I’m particularly interested in reviews from US travelers who’ve stayed in apartments or hotels in Milan and can share an honest review.
Hello
We rented a 2 bedroom flat and were very happy with the rental and the rental company.
