We have been here since Monday, checking out tomorrow. We were supposed to check in on Sunday, but our flight from DTW to JFK was delayed causing us to miss our connection. We were graciously given a 30% discount for our missed night. We are checking out a day early because of bad weather here. The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful, everyone we have come in contact with has been lovely. From answering any questions we had after we made our reservation and leading up to our check in, to providing a take away bag for our early departure tomorrow, and everything in between. Last night all the gelato shops were closed after dinner, but Andrew was able to serve us in their bar. The restaurant staff is very professional and kind. We hate to leave a day early but given the weather we felt it best to cut our losses and move on to Lake Como a day early. I can't recommend Hotel Stennebeck highly enough.
