I stayed in Villa della Forte pre-pandemic and loved it. Great hosts - friendly and accommodating.

Another one to consider adding to list would be Hotel Santa Maria. We found it comfortable and affordable:

Thoroughly enjoyed Donna Camilla! Big rooms..beautiful gardens..wonderful breakfast..a chapel right in the hotel..beautiful. would stay again..enjoyed all the restaurant choices in Trastevere as well.
