Hotel Recommendations for Florence for 3

I am traveling to Florence with my daughter and her girlfriend in May. I've spent a lot of time looking at hotels on Booking.com and have a tentative reservation at Hotel Palazzo Benci for 4 nights, but I'm not sure if it will be quiet enough (reports of "thin walls"). Has anyone stayed at this hotel before and if so, would you recommend? I generally like to stay at 3 star hotels -- clean, comfortable and quiet are my priorities, as well as a good breakfast. Our budget, for 3, is about $400 a night, though we would consider paying more (or less, of course!). I would prefer a hotel vs. an AirBNB or BB, because I like having a front desk available for questions/problems.
Any recommendations?

Our cab driver said this was the best location in Florence - Casa per Ferie Suore Oblate dell’ Assunzione Borgo Pinti - a ‘monastery stay’ ! Triple room about 170 Euro. Breakfast is basic but enough to get you going. Comfortable, quiet, the best towels I have ever had anywhere ! Something different. They can tell all their friends that they were trying out living in a convent !

Check it out at www.monasterystays.com

Thanks Stephen for the tip about the convent! I think I would like it, and not mind the "austere" environment. However, my young adult daughter and her friend would probably complain! I found another B&B that looks promising.

We stayed at the Hotel Cerretani Florence in early September 2022.
Location was great and the rooms very quiet and comfortable.
Front desk assistance was great.
We had a Jr suite with a king bed that could be set up as two twins and a sofa bed. Average cost was 375 euros/night. We had two rooms for four nights so, that may have helped with the cost.

Check out Hotel Silla. It’s in a great location in Oltarno, directly across the Arno from Santa Croce and other popular sites. There are lots of restaurants in the neighborhood, and shopping is nearby. It’s quiet, clean and the staff is nice. Our room had a king-sized bed and two sleeper couches. It’s a great value for the money.

We were there a few weeks ago and really loved it. And Rick Steves tours stay there.

Oh… if you watch Fixer to Fabulous on HGTV, they are featuring an Italian makeover. The crew is staying at Silla, and the family that owns the house being rehabbed also owns a wine and cheese shop and wine tour company a few doors down.

Might be a little late to get reservations, but check out Hotel California (that's really the name) and see if it fits your needs. Beautiful facility and the location is great as you can walk to just about anywhere.
