There are several hotels at Isola Sacre most of which are about 5 minutes from the airport and have a shuttle service.

You probably will get more input if you put your question in the " Destination Q & A" category.

We have stayed at the Hilton FCO several times.
You can walk there from the car rentals and walk or take a shuttle to airport terminal.

We stayed at the Hotel Tiber 3 years ago our last night in Rome. It was nice, had a restaurant on site and included breakfast. They have an airport shuttle, it wasn't free but it didn't cost too much. They provided slippers and some other goodies. Room was quiet and clean. Location is nice and there's a rooftop pool with good views. I'd stay there again. Found it on booking.com

For the ultimate in convenience, the FCO Hilton can't really be beat. It's literally connected with Terminal 3 (even if it's a bit of a hike to get down there). Rooms are huge and very clean and service was pretty good.
