My girlfriend and I stayed at La Residenza for four nights in mid January 2014. A delightful place on a pleasant little piazza within a ten-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. In the 2014 "Venice" guide, the breakfast is described as "skimpy". We didn't find that to be the case at all. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very good value, especially during the winter (one of the better seasons to visit if you want to avoid the tourist craziness).
