My husband and I will be spending one night in Florence in a hotel with a friend before flying home. Wondering if anyone has stayed in a hotel with two bedrooms in one room, if that makes sense. I know most bedrooms are small but wondering how this will work out. I want our friend to stay with us as she has dementia. Thanks in advance.
Are you wanting a triple or family room with all beds in the same room? We stayed at Hotel Caravaggio in a triple room some years ago and had a good experience. Rooms aren’t large, but it is an older building with high ceilings so the room felt more spacious. Walking distance from train station, nice breakfast and common areas. https://www.hotelcaravaggio.it/
You might also check Booking.com for more options. That will allow you to search accommodations for 3 adults in a room.
We stayed at the Hotel Casci years ago. We had a quad room, so 4 beds, but not a separate bedroom per se. Location was great and current reviews are still excellent, FWIW. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Thank you. I'll check these out!
Just ask for a triple. They are fairly common.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our adult daughter at the hotel Laurus Al Duomo. We got room with an adjacent sitting room that had a day bed. It was just fabulous. She had privacy as there is a nice bathroom on a short foyer that separates the spaces nicely. It was on the 4th floor I think. The rooftop breakfast was excellent, the staff was wonderful. You can walk to EVERYTHING including the train station See my full review at TripAdvisor PattyPhiladelphia April 2019
