If a convent interests you there is a lg convent steps away from tourist info for Cortona. We stayed there some yrs back . Excellent quiet with secured parking. It is Spartan and very clean, cool in summer, walking distance to all in cortona and a bargain.
Ck with TI of cortona for details. Little English if any spoken in convent..
Would stay there again in the future for sure.
