Hotel Help for Sorrento

I need help deciding on which hotel to stay in Sorrento. I'm looking at these four: Maison Tofani, Palazzo Marziale, Hotel Antiche Mura
and Maison La Minervetta.

Please share experiences and recommendations with these four hotels in Sorrento? Or other hotels you loved....

This past April my husband and I spent a week at Maison Tofani. Right in the center of Sorrento, tucked behind a courtyard, which separates it from the noise and crowds. Wonderful breakfast with great coffee any way you choose in a charming, grand old world dining room Attractive, clean comfortable rooms. I can’t say enough about the staff. Some street noise at times in the back of the hotel, but not an issue for us. Great a/c if you’re need it. Loved being able to step out and stroll to shops, restaurants and sites. Enjoy charming Sorrento!

We've stayed at Hotel Antiche Mura and loved it. It's very well located just a block or so from Piazza Tasso but just far enough for noise not to be an issue. Lovely grounds - kicked back with drinks from the outdoor bar after long days of sightseeing - and a superb staff. Good breakfast in a large, sunny room with a terrace, too.

Another vote for Antiche Mura. We stayed there last Dec., and found the hotel charming and lovely. We stayed in a room with our own terrace, overlooking the bluff. Bathroom was modern with beautiful mosaic tiles. Breakfast was one of the best I've had during that entire trip. Staff was warm and friendly. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Yes! Hotel Antiche Mura! It is very close to the main Piazza. Behind the building there is a lemon orchard and in that orchard there is a swimming pool. We had three nights in that hotel and liked it so much we increased it to five nights. Also Sorrento is an ideal base for several day trips.
Just a little note: you would probably get more replies if you put your question under Italy. Italy Reviews is for writing about your experiences with hotels and restaurants after your visit in Italy. Recommendations, warnings and so.

Another vote for Antiche Mura ! Fine place and staff! They surprised us and upgraded us with the top floor penthouse ! The breakfast was lovely! We stayed last November.
