Hotel Europa Florence - Via Cavour - Review

Last week, 4 of us stayed in 2 Double Superior Rooms at the Hotel Europa in Florence on Via Cavour.

A small, family-run hotel, it provided: a great home base for sightseeing, very clean rooms (and clean private bathrooms), and highly personal care and service from Miriam and Robert. Breakfast was more than adequate. There was a nice, small supermarket close by where we occasionally picked up bread/cheese (and, close by, a bottle of wine.) Easy walking/access to the major sites. Miriam and Robert are helpful with tour, restaurant, and other suggestions. It was a real delight to meet them.

While not a "Four Seasons"-level hotel, Hotel Europa is a great value for a very pleasant stay.

My husband and I also stayed there last week, and second the recommendation. It's a great location with views of the Duomo from most rooms. Miriam and Robert were very accommodating with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations.
