Looking for recommendation for a hotel very close to the Rome airport with a shuttle and close to transportation into Rome. This will be our last night on our trip, so we are looking for a place to sleep and then head home.

We stay at FCO Hilton. Shuttle or walk to terminal. Walk short distance.to hotel from rental car drop off. Has several dining options too.

We haven't stayed there yet, but we're booked into the Domus Porto Di Traiano in Fiumicino later this year. €89 includes breakfast, and the hotel is within walking distance of recommended restaurants. There's a shuttle to and from the airport, but it has a charge of €6 per person (€8 before 6:00 a.m.)

At the suggestion of others on this board we did not stay at the airport. We stayed instead at the Hotel San Carlo near the Spanish Steps, had a great meal nearby then transport by Welcome Pickups early in the morning. We had a great last night Of our three week trip to Italy.
