My husband and I are flying in to Rome from CA just as our 10 anniversary comes. I would love to line up a great restaurant with a view for us to enjoy and kick off our stay for this dream trip. Does anyone have a great recommendation they would like to share?

Have your special dinner at Imago on the Hassler Hotel’s top floor. You will have sweeping views of Rome and a great meal.

are you very good with jetlag? from the left coast it can get rough.
unless you are sure, a fancy dinner on arrival day might be wasted on a pair of romantic but dead tired folks... especially at the time Roman restaurants open for dinner.
happy anniversary -my wife and I are celebrating our 44th this week...

Though I don't have the name of a restaurant, I can recommend a great venue: Piazza Navona. I was in Rome a month ago and ate on Piazza Navona. It's a beautiful square. There are dozens of eateries there. Enjoy Rome!

Congratulations! My husband & I celebrated our 40th on RS Paris trip & will be celebrating our 45th this trip in Austria & the Alps!

We love picnics! Gathering our goodies, finding the right spot – all part of the joy as well as mom & pop cafés – in Rome Cornetteria Cafeteria Bar Bistrot Rome Italy – don’t let the name be off putting – best food & people – just charming & delicious – very memorable
