I traveled throughout Italy solo for 3 weeks and one of the best places I stsyed was in Vernazza in the "Cozy Studio" which. I rented through Maria and her husband Giacomo....it was the perfect location... Front and center on the harbor..... And I absolutely could have stayed forever! These 2 are the perfect "Old Italian" charming hosts and they made me feel so welcome to the area and secure... As a solo female traveler... The studio was lovely and perfect size...much history and charm and I arrived... There were freshly cut flowers from Maria's garden on the kitchen table... I absolutely loved everything. About my stay in beautiful Vernazza and they were a big part of that.... I highly recommend rentals from www.mariacappelini.com... Fantastic hosts!

I concur. We stayed in the Cozy Studio in September 2010 and enjoyed our visit very much. Maria and Giacomo were friendly and helpful. When we were there we found that it was easier to communicate with Giacomo, as Maria's English was limited. They also have the Charming Room located harborside.
