Hi I’m Barono had food tortellini and good steak in Florence but we have been here 6 days now in Rome, has the worst meal ever!! Please tell me places to eat, going to Coliseum tomorrow and Pantheon the next the Sorrento. Please help me find a fantastic place to eat !!

Can’t imagine this happening. Have you researched using Elizabeth Minichelli’s EAT ROME app? Or another App, Katie Parla’s Rome?

If you could manage to get to Perilli on Via Marmorata you would have a wonderful meal. The stuffed zucchini is fabulous. You are not likely to see tourists there--locals mainly.

Frank is right. My style and yours may differ. I know good places in Florence, Venice and Rome - several in Rome and Venice.
If you don't say what you are looking for other than "fantastic" it is hard to know how to please you.

Hi, thanks for suggestions. I wasn’t able to use Yelp as we never knew where what area we were going to end up for Dinner. I did try the other night and found a good place near hotel. But last night we stopped to have a glass of wine while wait for it to get dark so I could see the Trevi Fountain at night and we ended up just eating there. Best meal by far and one of the best meals I have ever had, try it if near the fountain, IL Chianti Winery.
