My three sisters and our four daughters, ages 10-22, had a wonderful stay in the apartments in Castelmuzio, Le Casine di Casteello, run by Isabella Moricciani and her family. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay in Castelmuzio was. Isabella’s attention to detail is perfect. The rooms were filled with fresh flowers when we arrived. A beautiful display of fresh vegetables , Cretaiole’s wine and olive oil and more greeted us when we walked into the kitchen. We had bikes to use, two huge loose leaf binders filled with information about local restaurant, hot springs, day trips, museums, etc, at our fingers. The Moricciani Family offers multiple activities to choose from throughout the week at their nearby farmhouse—our favorite was the pice pasta making class followed by dinner, don’t miss this! Isabella is completely helpful and attentive and speaks perfect English, which we appreciated. But, the whole family joins in, even with us fumbling Italian speakers, and they are all lovely! For some of our group it was a second visit and I think I can safely say we will all be back!
