We would like to recommend wholeheartedly the L'Ospite di Federica de Rossi in Verona. Federica was an amazing hostess. She definitely helped make our visit in Verona more enjoyable and even took care of us when we needed help. The great service started when we arrived at the apartment. Federica was actually waiting for us outside the apartment and proceeded to help us find a parking place which turned out to be very important given all the parking restrictions in Verona. The apartment was spotless and had all the needed amenities. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The location is perfect with only a short walk to any main attraction in Verona. The apartment was literally on top of a family operated osteria which made it hard to resist. There are many caffes, bakery, and grocery store nearby. Federica was incredibly nice and so helpful when it came to making plans, explaining all the insider tricks to navigating Verona. As a Verona local, born and raised, she was a walking encyclopedia of information on Italian history and gave us amazing suggestions for places to visit and the best places to eat. She was virtually always available and regularly checked in on us to be sure everything was all right. As if that was enough, when I got sick with a flu-like bug, Federica brought me to an urgent care facility, helped interpret the doctor’s instructions and even went to the pharmacy to help us get the medicines we needed. We had espresso with her one morning and literally couldn’t stop chatting. As for Verona, it exceeded our expectations. Juliet’s house seems to be the main attraction, which is not fair, for such a beautiful and historical city. The historic center is small and easily walkable. The Roman Arena is incredible. But most importantly, the people of Verona could be the main attraction, for they are warm, friendly, and hospitable. We give our highest recommendations to Federica, L’Ospite and Verona. You’ll love it all!
