great Florence restaurant

Ristorante Giglio Rosso We first passed on this Rick Steves'-recommended place, but when we turned the corner and saw the REAL entrance on Via del Giglio, we couldn't resist the inviting atmosphere that had no hint of stiffness. We were greeted warmly and served with great care by a lovely, friendly waitress, who spoke English well. The owner also came around to greet everyone in his place - clearly a locals hang as well as for tourists. We had fish, salads, pasta and wine, all of which was prepared and presented with obvious care. If we'd had more than this last night in Florence, we would've gone back for sure. We loved this place!
