We (three adults) stayed at one of the apartments at the Buranco Agriturismo in Monterosso al Mare recommended by the RS travel book for Cinque Terre. It is in a quiet and beautiful setting amongst the owners' vineyards and lemon grove, nestled in the hillsides overlooking the town. The afternoon wine tastings, complimentary for guests, was a lovely respite from the day's busy adventures and all of the staff was more than accommodating. The breakfast, included, was simple but more than adequate and always featured at least one in-house baked specialty. An easy and picturesque walk from town, (we are in our mid-60's), competitive price and spacious and comfortable apartments definitely puts this on our "return-to" list.
Thank you for this suggestion. How did you make arrangements? I'm beginning to plan a trip for September 2019 and the response I received after inputting some dates said there were no rooms. At this point my dates are somewhat flexible but even changing my dates a little provided the same response. I used this webpage: https://www.agoda.com/agriturismo-buranco/hotel/monterosso-al-mare-it.html?cid=-218
I went directly through their e-mail, [email protected] asking about availability of the room we wanted which we had seen on their website, www.burancocinqueterre.it and the dates we wanted in September. This was in early February and Meri (owner) got back to me in a week.
