Fun, tiny gem near Piazza Navona - Pasquino!

Pasquino "talking" statue; located near the SW corner of P. Navona, directly behind the Brazilian embassy. Historical statue, easy side trip. You can look up its story.
Terra Di Siena is a nice restaurant directly across the street from Pasquino. Food was much better than what I had on Campo dei Fiori. I give it a rock solid "B." Good wine by the glass. We paid 57€ for two glasses of good wine, 3 large and tasty pasta dishes, bread, white bean bruschetta, and a large bottle of water for 3 people. We sat on the street and enjoyed our view of Pasquino. Piazza Pasquino is a very short walk around the block from the South end of Piazza Navona. Nice getaway from the crowd.
June 2 (8:30 pm) - San Marcello Church is having a free classical concert. Most likely will ask for a donation. Church is gloomy inside. We may go to this.
St. Paul outside the walls (Church and tomb of St. Paul) is a lovely retreat from Rome. Easy metro ride for €1.5 per person each way. Having a great time. Ciao!

Ok, Barb and Rob, you might be ready for the real thing now:

Taverna Lucifero, one dark block northwest of the fountain in Campo di Fiori at
Via del Pellegrino, 51, 00186

I wouldn't share this with the general tourist audience, but since it's just you and me confidentially, I'm willing to pass it on.
Thank me later. :-)
