We spent a week at Fortyseven Hotel in Rome near Circus Maximus at the beginning of September. The hotel is located within a 15 minute or less walk of the Colosseum, the Capitoline Museum and Trastevere. The staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was included with our stay and included hot and cold items as well as made to order espresso. The room and bathroom were ample size. There is a restaurant on site (we did not eat there) and wireless internet. There is a bus stop outside the hotel, and the metro stop is a short walk to Circus Maximus. We enjoyed our stay immensely and did not mind being out of the city center.
