We recently stayed at Fonte Bertusi a Rick Steeves recommendation near Pienza Italy in Tuscany. It was an amazing stay. Our apartment was great with a small kitchen (4 burner stove top and small fridge) the grounds are beautiful and the view unbelievable but the best part was Manuela and Andrea. They couldn't do enough for us from providing lots of great advice on local activities and restaraunts to storing some luggage for us for a day while we picked some friends up at the airport.
If you looking for a special place to stay while touring Tuscany you should consider Fonte a Bertusi you certainly won't be disappointed
