Florence restaurants recommendations for someone who can not eat gluten

Hello,
We are a family of five heading to Florence for the Christmas/New year week. I am the only one in my family cannot eat gluten. As half of the fun in Italy is about eating, I have been going through many of the RS recommended restaurants (both in book and in this forum), looking for good authentic food that also serves something I can eat...going through photos and looking at menus. I found a few places, still looking for a few more possibilities for our week long stay.

My celiac is not severe, just cannot eat gluten outright, shared kitchen is OK.

I would appreciate any recommendations/experience on places close to Oltrarno that serve good food and have gluten free options.

When we were in Rome, almost every restaurant had gluten free pasta, I had excellent gluten free pizza at several places. Just by searching online, it seems to me restaurants in Florence are less clear about gluten free options.
Thank you!!!

You will have no trouble finding gluten free options - Italy is very clued up on allergies.
Do make reservations ahead of time for that period.

This is a really good place in Oltrano https://www.cinghialebianco.net/

Also, I can't remember the name, but turn left at the end of Ponte Vecchio and walk 50 yards - overlooking the river.

I agree with the comments of Lin C. I also had no problem getting GF pasta dishes in Florence as long as I could accept a shared Kitchen.

Enjoy your trip.

Hello! I had a very delicious trip to Florence :) Highly recommend Ciro & Sons and Mama Eat, those were two of my favorites. Lorenzo de Medici is good for a nicer meal (we went for lunch). Surprisingly, Master Pizza right by the Duomo was quite tasty!

Sgrano is good if you're craving a sandwich.

We did not make it to La Milkeria for breakfast but it was high on my list.

Thank you everyone, my mind is more at ease. There is a Mama Eats at Rome too, their pizza was delicious.
A follow up question, how far in advance did you/do you recommend booking a table for dinner?

Thank you again!
