Florence Katti House B&B

This is a great value for your stay in Florence. It is within walking distance of the SMN train station, the local market and all the best art & architecture Florence has to offer. Our hostess Anna is a kind, warm local lady who runs a clean, safe & inexpensive bed & breakfast. There is breakfast. in the morning, free wifi and the beds are comfy. My room has TV, fridge and is decorated in Florentine traditional style. Very beautiful.

Once you see the sign on the front door that says Katti House enter and walk up one flight of stairs the office is on that level. Bookings can be made online, just Google Katti House Florence

We stayed there several years ago, before they added breakfast. Actually, we were at their other place across the street from Katti House, Soggiorno AnnaMaria. We absolutely loved it. It was very affordable, convenient to the train station and the Duomo area. Very quiet, very clean, and we loved our hostess, Maria. It's good to know they've added breakfast; we'll stay there again our next time in Florence.

Looked it up on TripAdvisor, the recent ratings are pretty good. It's not a luxury hotel but people seem to enjoy the place. I doubt that my wife would be enchanted, but I'd probably pick this place if I'm in town alone or with a travel buddy.

We stayed at Katti House and I am convinced it's the best deal in Florence! Anna the owner takes great pride with her House. It has been in Rick's guidebook in the past, don't have a clue why they dropped it.

The room was clean, clean,clean.

Laundromat across the street. Five minutes walk to train station SMN Firenze, 2 minutes to Merkato Central, 20 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio.

Breakfast hot tea, coffee, local pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cheese bread. Great value!
