Would be better if your question was in the proper section. ---- Destination Q&A - Italy ---- Fish soup is pretty generic. Are you looking for something like cioppino or a fish stew? Need some clarity.

It is like Provençal fish soup which is cooked with fennel, fish ,saffron and then put through a food mill and served with garlic rouille and toast. Sometimes with shell fish. Close to a bouillabaisse

That sounds divine! I don't think I've had tried soup like that before, but I'm almost certain I would love it.
