I am looking for an apartment or hotel in Monti or Travestere. My solo trip has changed and so I will need two rooms. Anyone have any favourites to share? I will be in Rome for 5 nights. Thank you.

Not sure if you meant "apartment OR hotel" or an apartment hotel.
If the apartment is just for you, this one is too big, but we really liked it and will stay there again. I had to check to see if it is actually in Monti, and it is, but just barely!
My review from January 2024 said: "Elena's apartment was ideal for us. Two ensuite bathrooms, everything worked well including wifi and showers, quiet but in an interesting and lively neighborhood full of restaurants and shops, a much-appreciated elevator, best equipped kitchen including tea kettle and mugs, personality and charm without clutter, and comfortable. Elena was very helpful in working out the check-in times and details, and also booked us airport transport. Thank you, Elena!"

what are your dates, budget in euros, amenities you hope for (A/C, wifi, elevator/lift?)

use filters on left side, click apartments, # of rooms, area and what's available
rome is always busy and crowded, book activities & attractions early using direct website, check-in times 3-4pm check-out times 10-11am, pack light, times of arrival and departure flights, transportation from airport to accomodation.
when you find something email/contact direct to see if better cost and rooms you want. good luck and enjoy
