We stayed at The White House bed and breakfast with our 3 adult children.
Can't beat location. Vatican walls are across the street. 10 min walk to St. Peter's square
They have a website and reviews on tripadvisor. Very reasonable. Also have 2 adjourning rooms. All private baths. Bit tricky to find if driving, as most roads in Rome are confusing. Great restaurants, easy access to city bus or metro. Highly recommend.

How much per night?
I intend to check RonInRome.com for his room suggestions next time we go. Last trip, we stayed in a great agriturismo 20 minutes south of town @ 70 euros per night. It got more expensive since our host was cooking for us at night--great food.

David, I just looked it up. Last minute deal (71% discount!) EU175 per night. It's not cheap! Looks beautiful, though. I usually stay at Hotel Alimandi Tunisi. It's across the street from the Vatican Museum. It's not cheap either, but love the location. In November is's only EU82+ taxes and the Alimandi Tunisi is EU133. So it is less expensive than where I usually stay.
