Family with Teenagers Hotel in Rome

I will be traveling with the family (2 Adults and 2 Teens) to Rome next summer and we are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that will allow us to have enough room as we will be there for 7-8 days.

Ideally we are looking for 1 Queen (or King) and 2 singles in adjoining rooms or suite. I'd love to hear your recommendations.

If you go to a website like Booking or Hotels.com. com or TripAdvisor and plug in the number of people (as well as your budget range, etc, it should pop up lists for Quad rooms and suites. Bear in mind that quads are not as common, and rooms in Europe can be much smaller than you are used to if you're used to North American hotels.

If you're staying for a week, you might want to consider renting an apartment, but only if it's air conditioned. That way you'd have more room, kitchen facilities for your hungry teens, and maybe laundry as well. Just a thought.

While you're waiting for personal recommendations, you might go to booking.com and search for accommodations for 4 people. Some of the results will simply be for 2 double rooms. Others are likely to be for suites or apartments. It's worth taking a look. I suspect you may have some difficulty finding queen and king beds, but I'm a solo traveler and am just guessing.

Be sure the place you choose is air conditioned. I don't know how common non-air-conditioned apartments are in Rome, but they certainly do exist in some other major cities.

For adjoining rooms with larger beds an apartment will be much more affordable than a hotel. And will provide much more space for a longer stay. Look on booking.com. I stayed in Suites Giulia once, 2 bedroom apartment. I forgot if the master bedroom was queen bed, the second was two singles. 2 baths, a kitchen, small living room. Very nice. I think it was a little expensive even in off season, though. There are cheaper options, check the website.

We stayed at Hotel Santa Maria with our two young adult daughters in a suite in 2016. It is located in the lively Trastevere area. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, and I highly recommend it. Enjoy your trip!

I have tentatively booked at the NAVONA TOWER - Via di Tor Millina, 19 - 00186 Roma, a 2 room apartment with small kitchenette. Looks to be well situated and pictures and reviews on booking.com look great

Has anyone stayed here? Any feedback or anything I should be on the lookout for?

BTW thanks to all who have made suggestions your feedback has been very useful.
