Excellent vegan cooking class in Italy

Success. I was lucky enough to have found a fantastic vegan cooking school in Lucca. Here is the website https://www.gioiadivivere.it
The class takes place at a lovely home in the countryside with a family devoted to healthy, vegan cooking. Taking this class was truly one of the highlights of my trip. They are a great family and were very patient with my lack of cooking skills. If you are interested in a cooking class this is one to take whether you are vegan or not.

Wow, that looks like fun! I am always slightly jealous of people who take cooking classes but I wouldn't sign up because what fun would it be if you couldn't eat any of it? This looks great! Did you have to drive from Lucca to get to where the class was located?

I'm so glad you are intrigued because the whole experience was amazing. I took a bus to Lucca from Florence and then a 10 minute bus ride out of Lucca and I cannot remember the stop. Stefania picked me up at the bus stop and we were on our way. The whole trip was less than two hours and it was a beautiful ride. Worth it!

Thanks for the extra information. I'm saving the thread for my next time I'm in Italy list, lol!

When I was on the Village Italy tour a few years ago we went to an olive oil mill for lunch as a group right outside Lucca. I had one of the best bean dishes ~ever~ there. The tour guide had asked them to make her favorite which was tuna and white beans and they kept some of the beans out before they mixed the tuna in. It was possibly so good because of the fresh olive oil, lol!!
