Based on a recommendation in this forum, my family and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Mozza and Bollicine restaurant on the south bank of the Arno. The food was delicious (pappadelle with a gravy of chianina beef as well as pappardelle with mushrooms and an artichoke salad) and our host shared homemade limoncello and pistachio digestive with homemade biscotti to die for.

I really like Trattoria 4 Leoni, south of the Arno. Been there three times and always get the pear ravioli. Located on a cute little piazza; if the weather is good, sit outside and see the little kids play under the watchful eye of their Nonnas!
