Evoca B & B in Ragusa

Heads up, this is going to sound like a paid announcement. Evoca. IMHO, has got to be the best deal in Ragusa. The renovated property has beautifully decorated and appointed rooms, every amenity you could want, a great location a couple of minutes from Ibla’s main drag and a breakfast patio with gorgeous views (and food). This is no place for a car, though. You can park on the edge of town and the owner will pick you. The street it’s on would be tight for a donkey cart. You can’t go wrong here. We stayed 3 nights and I would have been happy to spend a few more.

Wanderlust,

Thanks for this review!

I’ve not been to Ragusa (yet) but will save this information for future reference.

Did you travel to Ragusa via public transportation, or did you have a car?

Will you be writing a trip report?

If not, would you please share your itinerary?

Thanks!

Hi Priscilla,
I’m glad you liked the review. The place was wonderful. I booked it through booking.com, but try to contact the property directly. The owner is very nice and you might get a better deal. I don’t do trip reports, as I’m not a great writer, but I’d be happy to share our itinerary. When are you traveling? Can I send it to you when we get home at the end of the month?

Wanderlust58,

Ha! I think your writing is perfectly fine.
I used to worry about my writing, but then realized that I’m not being graded, and hopefully my trip reports help someone else.

I’m not traveling anytime soon but would love to go back to Sicily!
I was there in 2018, hard to believe it’s been 4 years already!

You can read my trip report, if you’re interested, you’ll find the link for it on my profile.

No rush. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Thank you for your wonderful recommendation. We visited Ragusa on a day trip from Ortigia in 2014. We were to return to Sicily in 2020 and were going to follow Priscilla’s amazing itinerary. ;)
Evoca B&B looks lovely. I can understand why you would want to stay longer! Hope you will share your experiences in Sicily.
