If you are coming to Florence, email Elena right now and reserve time with her. She’s a wonderful guide and a lovely person. Like many guides in the major cities of Italy she is busy so make your arrangements as soon as possible. We were interested in some sites off the beaten path or “little gems” as Elena calls them. She came through with some amazing ones. Elena will tailor your tour to your wishes. We told her in our email communications and when we met with her in Florence that we were not interested in the usual tourist sites because we could do them on our own, but wanted her to take us to things we would never see on our own and that’s exactly what she did. She also suggested other sights which she recommended (Bargello Museum) and some that she felt less enthused about, so that was very helpful. A wonderful tour with Elena.
