Eat at Pangies in Florence

This little restaurant had everything we were looking for. It was small, friendly, family run and delicious! We wanted a place to eat close to the center of town that had personality and Tuscan food. The restaurant only has a few tables and a tiny kitchen. Locals were popping in and out, chatting and eating with the owner. The chefs father served our table.
The food was terrific! My favorite was the wild boar pasta but everything we tried ( went there twice) was great!!! The antipasto was amazing. They also had vegetarian dishes readily available. We were so tired of meat ( Tuscany likes steak, a lot) that we had mostly vegetarian dishes. Flavorful and hearty. Also very reasonable prices.
