We happened across a place called 'Cloud 59' in Florence and were very pleased all around. It's a burger place and sure you are in Italy to try the Italian food which we did for more than a week but... ya know sometimes you need a burger break! I really enjoyed the place and found the service good.

I love all food and always eat the local cuisine wherever I am. But Having traveled for more than a year at a time I can say that it's important to touch base with the familiar occasionally and I think it makes you appreciate where you are and it's food and your own countries food even more when you stop in for that "BigMac." Whether it's at the Golden arches or some local place.

Yes I too am guilty of sampling the Golden Arches myself. My fav which we did not visit this year is the 3 story one in Rome. Wow, nicest I have ever been to!
