We attended Traditional Dinner class at La Scuola di Cicuna di Lella in Siena. The class and the dinner (with wine!) were fantastic. They also offer classes in making fresh pasta, pizza and one for traditional Italian desserts. https://www.scuoladicucinadilella.net/en/ They focus on fresh local ingredients and conduct the classes in English for English speakers. I would highly recommend experiencing this afternoon of culture, hsrtory and food, all wrapped up together.
Thanks for the recommendation. That sounds right up my alley.
Thank you for sharing this info, Lynn! I try to participate in at least one cooking class and possibly a food tour during each trip to Europe. Besides the fun activity and wonderful food, the chefs are also a wealth of knowledge about the local culture.
My daughter & I are planning to try to take our Italy trip next year. Siena’s a wonderful city, so I appreciate your recommendation.
