Looking for a B+B/small hotel in Rome that is convenient for 3night city visit. Like meeting locals and finding authentic expiriences.

How much are you prepared to spend per night? Where in Rome do you want to be convenient to? Vatican, or the Historic Centre, Trastevere, Spanish Steps or Trevi or some other area? Google guest houses or B & B in Rome, or use booking.com. One smaller hotel recommended on this Forum and which is centrally located is Hotel Smeraldo. It’s in a side street near Largo Argentina, easy walking to Pantheon, Victor Emmanuel Monument, the Ghetto etc. and transportation to other areas. There are restaurants nearby and a good deli just down the street. It’s close to Campo de Fiori with market and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was cereals, cold cuts, breads, pastries etc. which is pretty standard in Rome’s hotels.
